I wanted to take a moment in this blog post to welcome back director Gerry Spry, who came to rehearsal this past Monday. A few months ago, Gerry had a major surgery to treat throat cancer. Since then, he has not attended rehearsals so that he could recover. During the March concert and during the concert this past Sunday, we gave Gerry recognition for attending both concerts. For the upcoming summer concerts, we are glad to say that Gerry is back and will conduct two songs for the upcoming Hess Hathaway park concert in June. Welcome back Gerry!
